Rock Exotica's machined pulleys are milled from solid aluminum and the axle is built-in as part of the side plate. This allows the axle screw to sit flush and the pulley to remain compact and lighter than other stamped pulleys.

The machined mini and rescue reels are made like no other reel in the world designed and manufactured. Starting from a block of solid T6 aluminum, the side plates for the pulley are machined to leave material where it's needed most for strength. And because the sideplate is initially a solid block, the axle for the pulley is left as an integral part of the sideplate, further increasing its strength and overall rigidity.
The integrated axle also allows the pulley to use a custom threaded stud countersunk into the side plate, giving the pulley a unique hook-proof profile. These unique features are the basis for the Machined Pulley's impressive strength, slim profile and unmatched build quality.
