DESCRIPTION
Great design and extraordinary mechanical potential. With 2 high quality SKF ball bearings the redirect pulley Cocoon serves as a reliable and sturdy part of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). Unique in form and function the Cocoon was mainly designed to be used with the Ropeguide. In connection with a sling or a loop runner it can also be used within other applications like an In-Line-Anchor.

The illustration in black shows how to install loops or slings easily. No carabiners nor other connecting devices are needed. Rope sling or loop runner are locked directly within the device.Tightening of the cap nut (no tools required!) secures the Cocoon. To grant maximal security the locking mechanism is also equipped with two rings. The black ring supplies the friction resistance needed to prevent a self-induced opening of the cap nut. The other indicator ring (red or yellow) provides visual reference that the smoothly rounded cap nut is fully secured.

As long as the red marker is visible, the cap is not yet secured.The Cocoon elegantly combines the new with the known features and provides a safe, robust product with a long service life.

NEW The delicately engineered bridge on the bottom has been fortified by 1mm to resist even tough impacts.

NEW two high quality SKF ball bearings have been additionally equipped with a Low Friction component which makes for an even smoother operation.

Optimised contours, surfaces and rounded edges.

Tested and certified for personal protection equipment (PPE) in accordance with the European Standard EN 12278 as well as a component for the certified Rope guide.
