In-house and according to customer specifications, we produce our STELLAs (Steel Lanyards) from 7 and 8 mm galvanized steel cable.
We add stainless steel thimbles and aluminum ferrules, either conical or cylindrical, as well as a protective hose.
RinIngs made of aluminum or steel with and without powder coating can also be pressed into the second thimble if the STELLA is to be used as a suspended or extended anchor point, for example.
Deviating from this, two rings of different sizes in the two thimbles make the STELLA a special kind of "cambium saver" and enable "remote-controlled" installation and removal of the rope.
As STELLA-V, it distributes the forces introduced evenly over two attachment points or serves as a cut-resistant leader when abseiling in special operations, for example when rescuing people who are at risk of suicide.
Together with you we will certainly find even more options that can be made of steel cable, thimbles. ferrules, rings, captive carabiners, ring nuts, etc.
Our STELLAs meet the requirements of four standards and are CE-certified accordingly:
EN 795 B - anchor devices
EN 354 -
lanyards CEN/TS 16415 - anchor device for rescue (2 people)
DIN EN 1492-4 - lifting gear, load capacity WLL 500 kg, Minimum breaking load 3100 dN (Kg).
